My lady wife and I have a house in the heart of Cary with a guest room
that we would be please to let you use. Whether our place is infestation-
free depends on whether you would say that Bounce, our longhaired cat,
was "infesting" or "inhabiting" our house; we do manage to keep her out
of the guest room most of the time, but I'm sure her dander must be in
the air-conditioning system.
If you're not allergic to cats, the only other thing I could think of
that would discourage you from accepting this offer would be if you
have a desire to smoke indoors; that is the one restriction we place
on our guests.
Of course, you need not provide any explanation in any case.
