Dear Merry Rose Patrons,

Please pass this word to everyone possible...

While I sincerely doubt (and pray) that Fran will not be moving as inland as
Hugo did seven years ago, it will certainly cause high winds, flooding, and
still more heavy rains throughout our Barony.

King's Mountain has proven to be a very treacherous sight for flooding in
even normal rain conditions and we don't want anyone getting trapped or hurt
at our event.  It was, therefore, Her Excellency's decision this morning to
cancel the event and re-schedule.

I will put an update on the Merry Rose this afternoon regarding a
re-scheduling of the event.  But, in the meantime, please pass this word
around.  Sacred Stone will employ its canton Phone Tree methods this evening
but all help will be very much appreciated.

We're sorry for the inconvenience and know that this is a disappointment to
all of us on many levels.  But your health and well-being are our paramount
concerns.
