To all gentles...
My comments about helping a lady were meant just as I stated
them. But I did not mean to imply that courtesy should be extended to
ladies only. I do think, however, that the WOMEN (oh my goodness I'm
not being gender neutral!) in this Society are not always treated
with the courtesy they deserve. I think women are far better at
extending common courtesy to men than vice versa. As far as it being
a "throwback" attitude, milady, suffice it to say courtesy is not
something I take as being "throwback". Just so you will know...
