It's scary but it's true...people will risk life and limb to go to the mall
because of plain old boredom...they are so used to certain conviences that
when they lose them, they can't entertain themselves...we were in a state of
emergency and people called the radio station to ask if the movie theatres
were open.  The scary part is that some of them were.  We stayed in and
played cards by candle-light etc.  Though as soon as they let us on the road
we did go to a freind's house, but that was to help her clean-up the damage.
