ADMIN: Default List Reply

Hello everyone,

Well, for the past several months, the default reply for the list
has been to the list itself.  This has, on occasion, resulted in
some confusion, messages going to the list that weren't supposed to,
error messages flooding the list, etc...  Let us not forget, though,
that when the default reply was to the person that sent the message
there were posts that were meant to go to the list, that either went
to the person who originally posted the message, or to me (as the
list owner).  Now that we've seen both methods of doing things,
I would like to conduct a poll to see what default we should stay
with.  Please e-mail your replies back to me and I will tally them
up and relay them back to the list.  We should probably have a
time limit for voting also, so arbitrarily, I'll set by 5pm Friday
afternoon (it's now noon on Tuesday as I write this).  So please
send me (lovelace@netcom.com) a message indicating which of the
following you prefer. 

1. The default reply-to address is the person who sent the original 
message.

2. The default reply-to address is to the list itself.

3. I don't care what the default reply-to address is.

I will tally up the votes at the end of each day, until Friday, and post
the current stats to the list.  Assuming enough people vote (we have
over 200 on the list), that's what we'll do.
