The last I heard (a couple/few months back), an AEthelmaerc polling had been
overwhelmingly in favour of elevation to Kingdom status, but Mistress
Rhiannon (Eastrealm Seneschale) had not yet passed it on to the BoD for
determination.  I doubt it would have passed the BoD this soon.
