Courtesy and Ladies

I was *much* more impressed by the wonderful gentleperson who met me near the
door at Masked Ball as I was struggling out of the car trying to manage feast
gear, banner, handwork, and crutches, who assisted me to stand and get my
crutches under me, held open the door as I hobbled through, and burdened himself
with my assorted baskets and "stuff" than I am by a thousand who jump into my
way as I proceed into court.

If gentlemen wish to post themselves so as to assist unescorted ladies, please
let them do so outside the event, where an extra pair of hands is *really*
appreciated.
