The squire/baron carefully treads a very fine line...
It seems that one day a Knight and a King were having a discussion on one of
everybody's favorite subjects, sex. The King's opinion was that sex was 70%
pleasure and 30% work. The Knight contended that it was just the opposite,
30% pleasure and 70% work. After several minutes of discussion, the Knight
said "Oh, there's my squire. We'll ask _his_ opinion and settle it two to one."
So they put the question to the poor squire and he was really sweating. Who
does he disagree with, his King or his Knight?
Finally he said, "My Lord, Your Majesty, I regret that I must tell you that
you are both in error. Sex is 100% pleasure." The King laughed, because
at least the answer was closer to his opinion, but the Knight grew wrathful
and thundered "And how did you arrive at this answer, squire?!"
And ths squire answered, "My Lord, it is obvious. If sex required work you
would have _me_ do it for you."
