Coincidence? I think not.

Poster: "Efenwealt Wystle" <efen@hotmail.com>

There are so many strange coincidences in our world. You'd think this
list was full of lots of different conversations, I maintain "there can
be only one" going on. My facts may be incorrect, please humor me if
they are.

Don Juan, whom some just might call a bit of a "boffer", was a fencer
who probably did not use tripplette blades. He was spanish like the word
llama (that's yama, not lama) which we now know just might be a spanish
mispronunciation of an Inca word for the same animal. Just like common
mispronunciation and misspelling of Welsh names like Myrddin and Dafydd.
(sp?) This is similar to the folk process of _Belt&Chain_ (I'm sorry, I
still like the Trimarian version better) which was likely changed by
something not being understood (like the Dali Lama trying to convince
the Pope to quit his job) or having only a poor version on a tape from
Es-tray-ya War to work with (truth, ask Julitta).

And then there's Eogan MacAlpin who maintains that words from foreign
languages should be pronounced like English words. (Only sissies roll
their "r"s and pronounces those throaty german "chhh" noises.) I just
thought he'd like to see his name mentioned here too.

The llamas are the key here. Kevin Bacon, eat your heart out. (I'll bet
"eat your heart out" sounds GREAT in Klingon.) Maybe we need a "Three
Degrees of the Llama" game. I wonder how many lamas own llamas?
