Completely correct. And parafin won't make your vambrace taste like
honey. Emercing the leather in a pot of melted parafin for a few minutes,
then taking it out and letting it cool should do the trick.

Greetings from Thyra Beiskaldi!

I know of several European dance practices going on in my neck of the woods.

First, Lady Anjuli holds a dance practice at her office, Independent Sector,
every other Thursday from noon to 1pm, if your daytime schedule allows. This
is right in DC. The next is scheduled to be July 31, and the next afat hthat
should be August 28, if she holds any during August. For more info, you can
contact her at Ellen@indepsec.org.

Highland Foorde will be starting up our practices again hopefully in
September. These are held in Hagerstown, MD (the same town as Highland River
Melees) the second Friday of the month from 7 to 10. I haven't decided on a
site yet, but I will let you know as soon as I schedule them again. This is
about 1 hour from DC, the way I drive, but may be 1 hr 15 min or so for
normal drivers. (Not sure where in the metro area you are coming from.)

If you really feel the need to dance, our neighbors from the East, Sylvan
Glen, hold a dance practice every third Friday of the month in Shepherdstown
WV. This is I believe a 35 minute drive from Frederick, which is less than
1/2 hour from Rockville (again the way I drive--I hope no local cops are
reading this!) I can give deaails on this also.

I am sure the Baronies closer to DC have practices, but as yet I am not sure
of their schedules. Hope this helps!

In Service, Thyra
