Dead Squirrels from Golden Moon

     For those of you who were wondering why there were so darn many dead
     squirrels on the roads going to Golden Moon, it turns out that they
     (and the bears, too!) are experiencing a pretty severe food shortage,
     which drove them out of the woods looking for food, and the dumb ones
     thought that the passing cars might be worth hijacking.

     Seriously, there's a food shortage and the squirrels are out looking.
     The bears seem to be doing the same thing but they don't go near cars;
     houses are slower and easier to ransack.
