equestrian events

Nice to hear that there is some interest in doing equestrian activities at
some of our events.  I have been tracking the Meredian equestrian group for
some years and have been really impressed with the quality of their equestrian
activities.  Although the interest in Meredies seems to have lessened over the
years, there is still a tremendous amount of information to be gained.  There
is also an SCA wide news group devoted to equestrian matters. I lost the
address when I changed jobs so would love to get it from someone out there. 
It was SCA wide and so had some really good people posting to it, lots of good
info.There are some very good sites that would accomodate equestrian
activities, not only private horses being trailered in but also a wrangler
bringing in a string of school horses that could be used by nonhorse-owning
individuals.  Blackbow mentioned a Ren. site close to Charlotte, NC that might
be fun.  King's Mountain also close to Charlotte has facilities.  Any others?
