<< I would like to put out feelers at this time regarding interest in a
Belly Dancing class to be held in Sterling, VA. To my knowledge, we have no
such thing out this way- the closest being Jaka's classes in Fairfax.
We have a location in Sterling and a teacher. We only need 3-5
students to make it fly. I wonder if any of you out there are like me:
wanting to take classes, but traffic makes long distance travel to classes
in DC, Fairfax & MD just too hard for week nights.
Our teacher would be Cathy Veater, a seasoned vet with five years of
belly dance experience. She is affiliated with the dance/drum troupe
Fortune's Rhythm and is herself continuing her ongoing dance education by
studying with Michelle Forner. (You can visit Cathy on her Fortune's Rhythm
Web Page!) The small size of the class would be a bonus, too, as there would
be plenty of personal instruction and correction.
Cathy and I both have affiliations with people in the SCA, and I am
wondering if any people in the Barony of Storvik would be interested-- we
have some knowledge of what is 'period' appropriate for the dance and Middle
Eastern garb. I would be thrilled to meet people in Storvik that are
 interested in the dance.
Please let me know if this sounds like something you would like to
participate in and/or please forward to anyone you think would also be
 interested!

 Thank you very much!!
