Designing an "in persona" event so that less firmly established persona
players are as welcome as those players with strongly developed persona
seems like a tight-rope walk. It can be very easy for those with more
developed personas to be or be perceived as being, unhappy about the
less developed personas spoiling their game. If that trap can be
avoided, such an event would be like a persona workshop. Akin to an
immersion language study program, the players with more developed
personas proceeding and the less skilled players having to learn fast to
keep up. Intense learning.

How big a geographic area would it take to funnel enough attendees?
Events are usually hosted by local groups and not all members of any
group will feel personafied well enough to attend much less host, so who
would host such an event? Perhaps it is best done as an event within
an event. Is this what "Enchanted Ground" at Pennsic is?

Anne tossing out SCA thoughts when she should be Karen doing mundane
work.
