I have seen tokens of appreciation placed next to (or on) A&S displays at
several recent Atlantian events, and I loved being the recipient of one!
I hope more non-laurels will take to brining little tokens along and
rewarding things that they see & like.  I recently attended a 'rock &
mineral' show and purchased an inexpensive strand of big beads that I
intend to use for just this purpose (I picked something that I thought
people might use--string on a necklace or whatever...).  I also bought
some extra-nice ones for 'special occaisions'.  Someday I hope to learn
how to make my own glass beads (then I'll have the fun of making something
*and* giving it away!)
