christmas tourney

Poster: fcderosa@ne.infi.net

Greetings good Gentles all,
In the spirit of the season, the Barony of the Flame will be
hosting a Wenceslas tourney this year during Christmas Tourney. We
apologize for not including this in the Pale ad, as it is a new
addition, therefore we hope word will spread from you the readers.
Please spread the word.
The entrance of the Tourney is with a donation of a toy (min.
$5.00 value). The Tourney will consist of a double elimination chance
Tourney (no tree). The purchase of an extra death can be obtained by a
donation of a child’s coat either new or used (but in good condition).
The extra death though can only be obtained prior to the beginning of
the tourney.
The proceeds of the Tourney will go to the Santa of Appalachia. No
it isn’t an organization but rather a missionary providing for those
needy in Appalachia. The man has spent his life giving to those in need
and has been nicknamed Santa. This man has been known to give the coat
off his back and the shoes off his feet (literally).
To this end, all entrants will be winners, for what better a prize
than knowing a child’s smile on Christmas morning was brought about
through your charity. For the last standing in the Tourney, I in turn
will present a broadsword; functional, full tanged, with the winners
coat of arms or device in the pommel - a truly one of a kind piece. All
will be finished for inspection except for the pommel, which will be
carved, cast, and mounted within the month.

For those not competing in the tourney any contributions of new or
used toys or coats, will be greatly appreciated. I believe her
Excellency has something planned as well for those noncombatives who
contribute to this most worthy cause.

In service,
Baron ML Lothair von Drachenstein
Baron of the Flame
Middle Kingdom
