Greetings to the patrons of the Merry Rose.  If you haven't had your fill of
holiday fun yet, please consider joining the Shire of Hindscroft
(Winston-Salem, High Point, and Greensboro, NC) for fun and merriment at
Fool's 12th Night.

Fool’s Twelfth Night
Shire of Hindscroft

 Kingdom Twelfth Night and Yule are over, all the gifts are given, all the
food is eaten, and all the fancy garb packed away.  It’s time to unpack and
dust off your motley.  It’s time once again, Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and
Girls, for the 6th annual Fool’s Twelfth Night!  Join us for all manner of
foolishness.  Enter contests for best medieval silly hat, best use of
motley, and best silly mask.  Help us choose a new King or Queen of Fools.
Games of skill and chance will be played, along with contests for punsters
and those who love Shakespearean insults (so brush up on your “Bard-speak”,
no notes allowed).

 The site is Marvin United Methodist Church, 4401 Indiana Avenue,
Winston-Salem, NC.  The site opens at 10 AM and Closes at 11 PM.  The site
is DRY and please leave your pets at home.  Lord Oshi (MKA John Sellers)
will be serving you as foolish Head Cook.  Those with dietary concerns may
reach him at (336) 760-9136 or e-mail him at jsellers@cris.com.  The cost
for all this fun and foolishness is only $8 for on-board and $3 for
off-board.  Children 12 and under are half the adult costs.  The feast is
limited to 75 gentles.  Please make your checks payable to Shire of
Hindscroft/SCA, Inc.

 Directions:  For those who live south of Winston-Salem, take US 52 NORTH
toward Mt. Airy.  Take the Akron Drive Exit #112.  At the stoplight, turn
left onto Akron Drive*** When Akron ends at Indiana Avenue, bear right on to
Indiana and proceed approximately 1.3 miles.  The church is on the right.

 For those who live north of Winston-Salem, take US 52 SOUTH towards
Winston-Salem.  Take the Akron Drive Exit #112.  Proceed to the stoplight
and turn right on to Akron Drive.  When Akron ends at Indiana, follow the
directions from ***.
