Tease?  You?  Nahhh..... couldn't be.  ;-)
I was just including the information on kilt yardage for the benefit of the
list--your comment reminded me of some common misconceptions that people have,
such as the belted plaide being at least 9 yards long (or 12, I've even heard!
sheesh!).  And, as you can testify to, anyone who has attempted to tailor a
modern kilt, to sett, will tell you that it is indeed a "real" kilt!  (I
personally think you must have masochistic tendencies to have tried
that--that's why tailors charge 4 or 5 hundred dollars for one of those!)
