Cathedral Choral Society: Mystics Ancient and Modern

Poster: Kristi Kelly <Kristi.Kelly@mci.com>

For those of you who are Hildegard von Bingen fans, the National Cathedral's
Cathedral Choral Society and the New York Ensemble for Early Music
is having a concert on March 7th at 4pm.

My post card says the following:

"Mysticism is the common thread for music spanning nine centuries and
two continents: from the 11th century abbess Hildegard von Bingen to
20th century composers John Tavener, Arvo Part and Henryk Gorecki.
Join J. Reilly Lewis, the Cathedral Choral Society, and New York's Emsemble
for Early Music, Fedrick Renz, director, as they explore how heaven
is wedded to earth through ethereal chants and haunting harmonies.
Exprience the journey of the striving soul in Mystics Ancient and Modern
in the awe-inspiring atmosphere of Washington National Cathedral".
