The Guardians send greetings unto the denizens of our fair Kingdom of
Atlantia.  We would like to extend an invitation to one and all to attend
our fifth annual Collegium, Auxillium et Concillium!  In years past, it's
been a day full of martial prowess, instruction in the Arts & Sciences and
most importantly, FUN!  This year will continue the great tradition of our
previous Collegiums.

For those interested in the War side of our Collegium, Duke Logan Ebonwoulfe
is heading up the martial activities.  In his capable hands, you can be
assured of a full day of military practice and instruction!

For those Gentles swayed by the Peace-ful side, we have a large range of
classes to suit all interests.  There will be classes in Textiles and
Clothing, Casting, Lampworking, Heraldry, Leatherwork and much, much more.
A partial listing of classes includes:

Lampworking Track: Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced Classes

Drumming Track: Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced Classes

Textiles and Clothing Track: Intro to Hats, Basic Italian Renn for Women,
Chemise Class, Hand Knotted Hair Nets, Elizabethan Wrapped Buttons, Bobbin
Lace, Introduction to Card Weaving, Banner Making, and more.

Leatherworking Track: Making a Soft-Sided Sporran, Period Sheaths,
Lanthorns, Leather Jacks, Bottles and Bombards, Introduction to Leather
Carving

Casting Track: Fundamentals of Sand Casting, Carving the Soapstone Mold, RTV
Molds, A Simple Forge/Foundry for the Backyard

Fundamentally SCA Track 1: Dance Classes, Singing Rounds and Catches,
Protocol and Etiquette, Intro to Sweets class

Fundamentally SCA Track 2: SCA for the New, How to Write Directions to a
Site, Autocrating 101, Round Table Discussion about Officer Roles, How to be
an MoAS

There will be no feast, but there are dozens of Fast Food and better
restaurants within a very short driving distance.  If you need lodging
information, please contact the Autocrat or check the information on the web
page.

Costs: Adults - $4.00, Children under 12 Free.  Some classes may have a
material or handout fee associated with them.

Directions:  Make your best way to I-77 and Charlotte, NC.  Take I-77 to the
Tyvola Road Exit (Exit number 5).  Go East on Tyvola (you are going the
correct direction if you see a McDonalds immediately on your left hand
side).  Stay on Tyvola and cross South Blvd. (It's the first Major
Intersection with a Stop Light you come too.  After crossing South Blvd, you
should see a Toys-R-Us on your Right.)  Go about 1 block further.  On your
Right is Smith Middle School.  Look for the SCA signs.
