Award Recommendations

On the subject of writing recommendations...I wish to add one more 
suggestion. When sending the letter in, send a copy to both the head of an 
order, and to the crown. Some of the royalty keep excellent records and 
pass on recommendations, others are not so efficient. The same is true of 
order heads. Thus two letters act as a failsafe, so that you can be 
reasonably sure that at least one will get kept on from reign to reign, 
order principal to order principal. Thus the accumulation over time of 
recommendations can help a person get an award.
