There is no need for anyone at the Merry Rose to choose between
keeping a period atmosphere and presenting humorous accounts of
consonant-rich languages.  Well within the Period the people of
England put forth an heroic and largely successful effort to
bring vowels (along with the rest of the English language and
all other things English) to Wales, an effort that also resulted
in a number of picturesque castles.
