Become a newsgroup

The real answer when a mailing list becomes this active is to become a
newsgroup.  This amount of activity will be taxing the server, and costs will
go up. 

Or, get a list server that has digest capability. (Or have I missed that,
pitching away 50 messages a day unread?)
