My dearly beloved, poor thing, glanced over as I was desultorily
flipping through, and turned purple reading that line, while I, having
skipped it (no interest in the arts of war), was reading the tag.
Fortunately I was able to reassure him before he succumbed to full-blown
apoplexy!
