There are probably better ways, but this is the easy way.

>From the Toll Road (or any of the other favorites out here in the west),
exit onto 495 North (to Frederick).  Cross the bridge, go 'round the
squiggles, wave hi to the Emerald City (Masonic Temple), and eventually
exit onto Georgia Avenue (97) South (to Washington).  Go down Georgia
Avenue until you see Walter Reed Hospital, and turn left onto Dahlia 
Street (Cedar doesn't go through to Georgia Avenue; there's a school in
the way).  Go about three blocks to Piney Branch Road and turn right onto
that.  Then immediately fork left onto 6th Street and the first house on
the right is 600 Cedar.  [Or, if you missed Dahlia Street, take the next
left, Butternut, go three blocks and turn left onto Piney Branch, and take
the next right, which is Cedar.  The house is right there.]
