     Alaric Luther Sends Greetings,

I am currently working on the team that Jaelle is putting together
for the Great Scanning Project. We are currently in the analysis phase
of the project, defining image storage types to use, naming
conventions for the images, and duties for the volunteers.

A sampling of Arms has already been scanned for the prototyping and
image comparisons. We have a few scanners available already, but,
considering the sheer volume of items to be scanned, the more the
better. Additionally we have arranged for web server space (HTTP and
FTP) and have a CDROM cutter.

Donations would gladly be accepted for the project to offset
materials needed for the project. Jaelle <jaelle@access.digex.net>
would have to coordinate that. I am but a humble servant.

     In Service,

     Alaric Luther

I don't know if Jaelle (the young lady in question :) lurks on the Merry
Rose or not, but her e-mail address is in the Acorn (which I don't have a
copy of right now).

One could ask. Maybe a combination of this company scanning the documents
and other volunteer efforts would be sufficient?
