At Knoebel's, a central PA amusement park, they have high-water marks on
trees painted and marked with the storm and date. These trees are not all
the way down near the creek (they're not at the top of the hill either).
Towering above all the others (and waaaay above my head) is the one that
says "Agnes 1972". A family friend who was living around there tells me it
took months to get everything in the park rehabbed.

Hey Landi, how many 100-year floods has Scottsville had in the past 12
years? There were four in 1985-90, I lost count after that.
