Anyone whose been fairly active on the kingdom schene, after a
few years can easily become jaded. I've heared tales of ignoble
conduct from autocrats who misuse event funds to buy personal
regalia, to head-cooks "loosing" hundred of dollars of receipts,
to all sorts of massive abuses of powers for personal or
household gain at the local or kingdom level.I've seen people
wrongfully slander others, either in this medium, or simply
continueing rumours they can't substantiate, that were handed
down to them as "gospel".

I guess the reason I remain finally, is the good friends, and
those iniatial concepts I ascribed to back when I was
sixteen. That noblity is proven by one's actions, that ideals like
honor, couresty, and chivalry exist, only if we allow them to grow
inside of each of us.Not to sound TOO preachy, but the Golden
Rule still appilies. These, combinded with a strong sense of
Karma, help me keep focused in times of confusion or doubt. As my
Duchesses motto says "Slow but fine grinds the mill of the
Gods..."
