One important consideration in this is that the CCC has left large numnbers
of "Cabin" camping sites in Meridies. So much of what Meridians call
camping is not tent camping, but rather in cabins. For instance, attendees
of Silver Hammer (Knoxville, TN held at the end of October) stay in a mix
of heated, if you want to pay extra, and unheated cabins. For winter
events in heated cabins $25+ event fees are not unheard of (but not all
that common either).
