A&S Competitions at Academie of the Rapier

The work 'Florentine' evokes many different images. To the duellist, it means
one thing. To the embroiderer, it means another thing, and to the cook, it
means something different still. Our challenge to all this year at Academie of
the Rapier is " 'Florentine' in any medium."

Let your imagination run wild, and don't forget your documentation!

We are also having two other A&S competitions at Academie of the Rapier this
year. Bring your finest works of bobbin and needle to our Lace Competition and
our Late Period Stitchery Competition (late period means 15th C to 16th C).
Documentation is a definite plus, but don't let that stop you from entering.
