Richard III
Poster: afcarey@norfolk.infi.net (anne carey)
There are several excellent books on the market concerning Richard III,
Henry VII, et al....
For a reasonably concise treatment (which is also an excellent read) try
Josephine Tey's "Daughter of Time"... It's a novel, but very well
researched...it takes you step by step through the process of why it is
*extremely* unlikely that Richard III is quite the villain that Thomas More
and Billy Shakespeare paint him....It even goes into details of the
contemporary record and contemporary correspondences... It's not a
*scholarly* source...but it is much easier to read... :D
