Greetings again,

I had always understood that a "bog dress" was either a tube of fabric
pinned at the sholders and belted at the waist or two wide stripes of
fabric pinned at the sholder and belted a the waist. I know Viking women
wore an apron like piece of garb, over a tunic, which was two long pieces
of fabric pinned over the sholders by two smaller fabrics and then
possibly belted at the waist.
