Aelfgar, as you have probably guessed, I
am very interested in the kind of
discussion that you propose. I know
that not very many others are responding
to our posts, but I suspect that a fair
number are reading and enjoying
the speculations.
If people are bored with this I hope that
they will say so and we can continue
offline by e-mail. If, however, folk
are entertained by our guesses but don't
feel secure in putting foreward their own
I hope they will post some questions
that they would like to have discussed.
