Kane always made everyone feel good. He was one of the good guys. I'm still
in denial. It can't be Kane!!! But God help you if he called you out for a
midnight fighter practice. Any of you who remember this experience need to
share it with us.
Muirgan was responsible for the Pelicans giving out Bloodstones, to
acknowledge those who have worked hard for the SCA. Fighters can win
tournements, A&S people can win A&S competions. What is there for those who
bust their buns either in the kitchen or as autocrat? Muirgan came up with
the Bloodstone as recognision for service. And No, 3 Bloodstones do not equal
a Pelican, but if you have received 20 bloodstones, us Pelicans should at
least give a look at you.
My heart is breaking for the loss of these people. It's just not possible.
It's just not fair. We need them here with us and now they are gone.
