It's a kind of harp, actually a true Irish harp. The proper spelling
is Clairseach (pronounced Clair-shark). It's supposed to be difficult to
play. There are actually a few people who do play them. One is Ann
Heyman. She plays on a number of CDs (A couple of which I own) and is a
member of a group by the same name which consists of Ann and her husband
Charlie. They've come to our school the past two St. Patty's days and
they usually play to a good size audience. (If anyone is interested I'll
find out if they're coming again and post something to the list).
