Re: Period Golf ?

Well unless there's a reason to think the courses are radically different,
why not sponsor a trip to a modern golf course for a group playing by period
rules and with period clubs? If you pick a nine-hole course to start out
with, most of the folks won't be such high-powered agressive players that
they won't have a sense of humor about your odd equipment and behavior! I
am a completely hopeless golfer and I think this sounds like an absolute
blast.

No to both. Lord Torquil does not have online access. However,
there are a number of people who live near him that do....If one of
them were willing to pass along a message for you, that would work
as well. I know that Torquil has actually used his clubs on a mundane
course to play a round of golf. As far as "setting up a course"...egads,
I can't even imagine how you would manage that....

Eldred
