Books for KY
Poster: John Strauss <jstrauss@gmu.edu>
Someone asked if we had anyone nearby to look into this thing with the
flooded kentucky library.
I guess that would be me. I don't know where this library is, yet; but I'm
about an hour from the Ohio river.
I have cross-posted this whole enchilada to the midrealm list and I'm
asking the local midrealmers for advice. There are two baronies along the
Ohio. I anticipate that one of them will do the legwork onsite. Don't ship
any books, yet.
BTW, my county has been designated a federal disaster area. Robin and I
only got a little soggy. A couple of local SCAdians got flooded basements
that you could swim in, lost gas and hot water, etc. No real disasters;
just minor catastrophes.
Of course, it just started raining again. The ground won't absorb any
more. This is all going to be flood water....
