Bardic Comp. at Coronation

Poster: mn13189@WCUVAX1.WCU.EDU

Greetings and wel mot, evirichon!
I come with sad news for you this day. Due to mundane job conflicts, I
will be unable to attend the Coronation of Cuan et Bera as I had intended
to do. Unfortunately, this is unavoidable.
Now, if you read your Acorn faithfully, you will have noticed that I was
holding a Bardic Competition early that Saturday morning for a performance
in praise of Atlantia and/or her Crown, with the winner to perform the
winning peice for Their Majesties' Court. Since I will regrettfully not
be able to attend this event, unless someone else volunteers to judge this
competition in my absence, it will be cancelled.
Those of you who have worked to prepare a peice do not think you worked in
vain! Very likely I will hold a similar contest at some future event.
Also, please do not forget that there is another bardic competition being
held on the same day for best mini-saga (poem), composed on-site,
recounting the day's events, under 5 minutes, to be held during feast. I
encourage all interested parties to participate in this.
Please spread word of this to anyone you know who is net-impared and was
planning on entering the competition.
And I WILL be attending this weekend's Jonglurie. I will be teaching
classes throughout the day, and would love to have anyone interested in
the bardic arts to come talk with me. It's a world of fun!
(But don't bother King Big Bard with any questions... he thinks he's hot
stuff but wouldn't know a good bard if one bit him.)
That being said, anyone with further questions don't hesitate to contact
me.
Aye,
Eogan
