CAMBOK, the musical

Poster: "Efenwealt Wystle" <efen@hotmail.com>

I was so inspired by the torchlit CAMBOK game at Cuan and Beras Coronation,
that a song had to be written. With a little help from my Lady Arawynn and
friends Brianna and Lord Kheldar, heres a start. Please feel free to add
verses. The tune is everyones favorite dirge - commonly used for the Birthday
Dirge/ Volga Birthday. Share it with your friends, make copies.

Midnight Cambok
Words by Lord Efenwealt Wystle & Co.

Whens the CAMBOK (thud)*
Whens the CAMBOK (thud)

Theyre still dancing in the hall
Well just knock around this ball.

Think this game is pretty neat,
Drop the stick and use your feet.

(Conan voice) I will crush my enemies.
See them driven be-fore me.

When Im out there with my stick
All my freinds think Im a pr---.

Why get authorized to fight?
I can play this game all night.

Everytime we score a goal
Well shout CAMBOK like a--holes.

Thank Caer Mear our noble hosts
Then I'll move they're neat goal posts

Dont know which side I am for.
Ill just hit this ball some more.

My magic demon stick will steal your soul
and feed it to me giving me great STRENGTH AND POWER! (nervous pause)

Throw that ball back into play.
All the wimps can hit the hay.

*thud - denotes the sound produced by about 25 CAMBOK sticks striking a wooden
floor all at once.
