SITE CHANGE for Cathanar Rapier Workshop

Poster: Kat & Christoph Hintze <chhintze@bmd.clis.com>

PLEASE spread the word to those who do not have electronic access or access
to the Merry Rose!!!!!

Well, we goofed. Not only don't we have the key for the site this year, we
don't have the site - but not to worry! We wouldn't DREAM of letting a
little thing like that stand in our way....

The Third Annual Cathanar Rapier Workshop will be held at Dutch Treat Mobile
Home Park on Hwy 24 in Newport, NC. The area available is a large open
field - bring your own shade! There is no AC on the field, but the site is
very close to the autocrat's home, and you are welcome to retreat within as
needed.

[In case of rain, we will hold the workshop INSIDE the autocrat's house -
but it will of necessity be limited to discussion and possibly a fencing
movie....]

Still no feast, but we are only 5-10 minutes from fast food & restaurants
and we will have desserts and a revel at the autocrat's home in the evening.

DIRECTIONS:

>From North, West, and Southwest: Take NC 70 toward Morehead City. About
10-15 minutes past Havelock, you will come to a stoplight with a "Welcome to
Newport" sign. The second stoplight after this one is Hibbs Rd. Turn right
and go three miles until you come to NC 24. Turn left. Follow directions
from * below:

>From due South: Take NC 24 toward Morehead City. About 45 minutes past
Jacksonville, you will pass Broad Creek and Gales Creek. Keep an eye out
for the stoplight at Hibbs Rd. *A mile or so after Hibbs, keep an eye out
on the left for the Town & Country IGA. Then watch on the left for Paradise
East Subdivision. Dutch Treat is next on the left - turn in just before the
6- or 8-unit storage building. There should be signs....

>From East: Take Hwy 70 toward Havelock. At the intersection just past the
Marketplace shopping center, prepare to split off to the left on Hwy 24.
Watch for Pinewood Dr. (or St. or Ln....) and prepare to turn right. If you
miss the turnoff for Hwy 24 (if you pass Wal-mart & McDonald's), just
proceed to Hibbs Rd. (first stoplight after you're out of town), turn left,
and follow directions above.

Once in Dutch Treat:

To the Autocrat's house: Take the first left past the storage buildings,
then the first right. Ours is the third on the left, the only one in this
section with a Little Tykes play structure in the front yard.

To the site: Once you turn in, continue on straight until you come to a big
grassy field on the left. You should be able to spot us, unless you arrive
REALLY early.

For parking: Take the first left, and continue until you reach the
mailboxes. Park on the field behind them.

For further information, please contact the autocrat: Christopher Storme of
Kintail (mka Christoph Hintze), 24 Dutch Treat MHP, Newport, NC 28570,
