Archery in War

Poster: viking@groupz.net (Doug Munitz,Sven Olafssen;Maria Munitz)

Good Gentles all.

(deep breath, here we go......}

Let me first say, that I am all for it. I have heard the arguments from
both sides and all I really have to say on the subject is this....

How many real medieval wars have you seen that DIDNT have combat archers?
{you know what I mean. not really seeing them.)

The point I am making is that Archery and seige engines where common, no
necessary, in the making of war. If we as a group are going to try to make
war, does it not make sense to incorperate ALL its elements into it? As
long as we remain safe, there should not be any problems with this. I know
lots of fighters dont like being taken out by an arrow because there is no
skill, or contest of arms with an opponent of skill, just some straight
piece of wood doing the killing. But in my humble opinion, Thats the way
war was waged.

Thanks for hearing me out. Now I am ready to dodge replys... ;)
