Jonathan, I don't think Efen was pointing the finger at you, going "bad,
bad!"  I think he was only pointing out that when people post creative
material (like that song) to a mailing list without crediting the author,
then it gets reposted and reposted and reposted, people tend to think that
it is the public domain, and treat it as such.  Some authors don't mind
this at all.  Others do.  Unless you know for sure, its safer to assume
they do mind, and try to get permission.  
	You were not in the wrong for posting a funny song since you were 
way down the chain of reposts, but Efen was in the right for reminding us
all who wrote it.
