First Footing in Charleston

What Are YOU Doing
New Year's Eve?

Why not join
The Canton of Tear-Sea's Shore
and
The Barony of Hidden Mountain
 for
First Footing in Charleston?

The S. C. A. has been invited to participate in the first-ever First Night Charleston, a New Year's Eve block party with a difference. One of the main streets in old Charleston will be closed for several block and filled with artists, actors, food vendors and other entertainments. And US!

Yes, this is a demo for us, but it also promises to be one of the most enjoyable events for a long time. We have been promised an excellent location convenient to parking, privies and one of the major event "food courts". And, of course, free admission to one of the best parties of the year (proceeds of the event are going to charity)

So we invite any fighers, artisans, dancers, musicians or anyone else to don their best outdoor garb and join us in Charleston on New Year's Eve.

Events run from 5 p.m. to midnight, after which some of us will be joining parties already in progress in clubs around Charleston while others will retire to their crash space or to a post-revel at Taigh Moran Chat.

Brunch will be provided on New Year's Day to start our (mundane) year off in the right manner.
