Actually, Twelfth Night is the 5th; Epiphany is the 6th. (Count nights
starting with the 25th - the first day of Christmas. The twelfth day of
Christmas is January 5th, followed immediately by the Feast of the
Epiphany, celebrating the arrival of the Three Wise Guys - I mean, Men.)

which is really Jan 6 (or as people in the mountains called it
"Old Christmas" . . . or , since things are slower in the southern
end of the kingdom, Jan 24 in Augusta . . .
