Anyone in the Northern area who is interested in the guild discussions,
fight practice or socializing, is welcome:

A&S Happening!
Caer Mear, Yarnvid, Caer Gaelin!

What: Officer's Meeting, Guild Meeting, Pot Luck, Fight Practice?
The purpose of the officer's meeting is to discuss ways that the three
groups who share overlapping zip codes can also share resources, ideas,
events and information leading to general improvement of A&S activities
with a minimal of burnout for officers and populace alike.  This meeting is
closed to all except officers, deputies and those specifically requested to
attend; the intent is to keep the number down to a workable small group. 
No decisions will be made that require the endorsement of the groups;  any
rumors that I am an evil overlord intent on destroying Yarnvid are greatly
exaggerated.

The purpose of the Guild Meeting is to discuss ways to support dead or
seriously ill guilds so that they may once again lead productive lives in
our fair barony.  This includes the Caer Mear cooks guild and S.W.A.T.  We
will also discuss the possibility of starting a guild for herbal and
gardening interests - this is probably more of a regional than a barony
thing.  Anyone interested, in or out of the barony, in fiber, cooking,
herbs, gardens, or other topics for a guild is welcome to attend this
discussion.

The purpose of the potluck is to eat, socialize and brag about works in
progress.  The theme is Mardi Gras, so bring something with a New Orleans
flavor.  I have recipes and suggestions.  Dewi will be frying turkeys. Yes,
I know that Mardi Gras will be over by then, but the previous weekend has
lots of conflicts, so use your imagination.  Bring your own beverage.  
Bring a video or your favorite musical instrument.  My house is very wet,
but remember that some of the Caer Gaelins are under age, so be discrete
and use good sense or I will ask you to leave.

If you would like to come early and have a fight practice while the
afternoon meetings are going on, we can work that out also.  Let me know
and I will make sure that someone is here to supervise the fighting.  If
you are coming from out of town and would like crash space, please give me
a call in advance.  I have two rooms with beds and doors, two bathrooms and
lots of floor space.  Animals, I have 'em.  Smoking, I don't and I ask that
you don't.

Take your best route to Rt 60, Midlothian Turnpike, west of the Powhite
extension.  Turn right onto Robious Road.  Go through the traffic light at
Old Bon Air Drive.  Take the next right onto Fernleaf Drive.  When Fernleaf
ends in a 'T', take a right onto Robindale. Ours is the second house from
the corner on the right. Number on the mailbox.
