Dandy. It should still be done more often - if Laurels are in short
supply, a "people's choice tourney" is still possible; Storvik had one its
last Yule Revel. Not everybody makes it to Kingdom Arts: I didn't last
year due to an extreme upheaval of Life; I doubt I will this year because
I'm trying to get my thesis done, submitted and defended in the next 6
months or so. Much as I respect the Atlantian Laurels, they're not
awarding my PhD, nor would I want them to. :-) I'm sure I'm not the only
person with circumstances that prevent me from being at one event or
another, and it seems too bad that we should miss out completely on an
opportunity for good feedback. Atlantia has a fair number of largish
events which draw a good attendance, and sometimes have multiple layers of
arts display/competition, so it shouldn't be overhard to slip such a thing
in.
