	Check with DMC...I believe they still make a metallic vs mylar 
thread.  be careful to get the real thing, as mylar doesn't hold up well. 
 The big drawback to real metal is that you really shouldn't wash the 
piece when you 're done.  Metals also tend to tarnish.
