Then you need to speak to His Excellency, Corun MacAnndra, Baron of
Storvik, who has built many yurts.  He usually frequents the Rose but his
ISP is acting up these days, so it may be a while before he's
electronically available.  All of his contact information is to be found
in the back of the Acorn under "Landed Baronage."  However, at least some
of his yurt research and plans are available on his web page, for which
the URL is (if memory serves and it probably doesn't)
