Only a budget of $20M?  Wouldn't it be more cost effective to do away with
the futuristic techno-feudal setting and set it in Anglo-Saxon England?
Notice they also mention the original is a *Danish* poem. <shrug>

On a slightly related topic, what did anyone think of "Ever After"?  I
personally thought it was delightful film!
