Poster: Karen@stierbach.atlantia.sca.org (Larsdatter, Karen )
Greetings, all!
I was just going through the Smithsonian's website and found some
classes (under the Smithsonian Associates' studio arts programs)
that might be of interest to the scribal-oriented population of the
kingdom ...
Chinese Brush Painting and Calligraphy
http://www.si.edu/youandsi/join/tsa/rap/studio/chinese.htm
Introduction to Calligraphy
http://www.si.edu/youandsi/join/tsa/rap/studio/intro-cal.htm
There's also lots of other stuff being presented by the Smithsonian
Associates this winter that SCAdians might be interested in,
including:
Last Chance to Catch the Force! Lecture and Study Tour of the
Star Wars Exhibition at National Air & Space Museum
http://www.si.edu/youandsi/join/tsa/rap/otojan/force.htm
Leonardo Da Vinci: Origins of a Genius
http://www.si.edu/youandsi/join/tsa/rap/otojan/leonardo.htm
And of course, for information on lots of other Neat Stuff Going On
All Over Atlantia, check out the Concerts & Events Page
(http://moas.atlantia.sca.org/concerts.htm) and the Museums
Page (http://moas.atlantia.sca.org/museums.htm) at the Atlantian
A&S website. :)
